T Harish Rao, a senior BRS leader and MLA, criticized the Congress party for deceiving people with their manifestos. He pointed out that the Congress has a history of making promises during elections and then not following through on them. Rao specifically called out Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for this behavior.

Rao mentioned how in the past, Congress had released manifestos during elections in 2004 and 2009, but failed to fulfill the promises made in those manifestos once they came to power. He also highlighted how in 2023, Congress made promises in Telangana but did not keep them after winning the elections.
