Siddipet’s Finance and Health minister, Harish Rao, took part in a garbage clearance program in ward 18 of the town. He personally picked up plastic covers, Kurkure packs, chocolate papers, water/tea glasses, and sanitary waste from a drain and placed them in a waste bag. Rao urged people to keep their surroundings clean and maintain personal hygiene. He also aimed to raise awareness among women about the importance of keeping garbage from piling up by coining the slogan “mana chetta mana badyata.”
In another event, Rao distributed yoga mats to several practitioners at a free Anand yoga camp in ward 22. He emphasized the significance of regular yoga practice, noting that even people in developed countries like the US and Europe are embracing it. Rao described yoga as a natural and wonderful medicine that can make one’s day relaxing and cheerful when practiced daily. He also mentioned that systematic yoga practice can increase lifespan.
Rao emphasized that yoga should be incorporated into one’s lifestyle, and parents should instill the habit in their children. He further stated that limited food consumption coupled with yoga and pranayama can help individuals stay healthy and protect their lives.
