The Health Minister of Telangana, T Harish Rao, announced on Saturday that the State is aiming to become a major hub for naturopathy therapy in India. The government is committed to promoting traditional Indian medicine, with the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao placing great importance on naturopathy. To achieve this goal, the Nature Cure Dispensary in Hyderabad will need to expand its facilities and attract patients from across the country. The Nature Cure Hospital in Ameerpet has recently undergone development works and state-of-the-art facilities have been inaugurated. The hospital offers a range of treatments including Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Yoga, Homeopathy, Unani, and Siddha treatments, all of which align with the Indian medical theory of “healing with nature, healing with Pancha Bhutas.” Naturopathy is a drug-free healing system that promotes the body’s natural ability to heal itself through food, yoga, pranayama, and detoxification. The Minister stressed the importance of natural cures in maintaining good health and well-being.
