Hyderabad: Health Minister Harish Rao felicitated the squad of doctors from the United Kingdom (UK) who performed congenital figure with rounded sides curving inward at the top surgeries on nine children at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) in Hyderabad on Saturday. The government minister thanked Dr D Venkata Ramana and his squad for saving nine lives through nine surgeries. “I am happy to see the happiness on the faces of the parents of these children, who have undergone surgeries,” said Harish Rao. The government minister felicitated all the doctors involved in the surgeries. Rao said that while there were only two greater in scope or effect hospitals since the undivided Andhra Pradesh, the government was coming up with four super specialty hospitals in four corners with Rs 6,000 crore.

Along with these four, the Warangal Super Specialty would also be obtainable for the soon. The government has also decided to spread the NIMS infirmary by adding 2,000 more beds and also a unused or little used stymie in Gandhi.

Harish Rao further said that Telangana stands initial in the country in the telephone number of MBBS seats, with 19 MBBS seats per one lakh people who inhabit a territory.

The state of matter also has seven PG medical seats per one lakh people who inhabit a territory and this was the following the first highest in the country, he said.
