Harish accuses Congress of engaging in vindictive politics; legal action initiated against BRS activists

Senior leader T Harish Rao of the BRS party spoke out against cases being filed against party activists. He emphasized that former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao focused on development rather than vindictive politics. Rao made these statements during a preparatory meeting for the Khammam Lok Sabha constituency. He assured party members that the defeat they faced was temporary and that the future belonged to the BRS party. Rao criticized the Congress for their vindictive approach towards BRS leaders, stating that if the BRS had acted in the same manner, Congress leaders would currently be in jail. He expressed confidence in the BRS activists’ ability to make an impact in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Rao also criticized the Congress for setting 100-day deadlines and warned that after this period, the people of the state would file cheating cases against the party. He assured party members that they would not always stay in Hyderabad but would come to them. He urged them to have patience and stated that the people would bless the BRS party with power. Rao alleged that there were three groups within the Congress in Khammam: YSR Congress, TDP Congress, and the original Congress. He praised Nama Nageswara Rao for asking more questions than any other Telangana member in Parliament and stated that it would be beneficial for Khammam if Nama was elected to the Lok Sabha.

Rao accused the Congress and BJP of colluding to transfer seven mandals of Telangana and the Siler project into Andhra Pradesh. He criticized Union Minister G Kishan Reddy for stating that there was no need for the BRS party in Telangana. Rao reminded Reddy that the BRS party was the home party of Telangana and warned against doing injustice to the state.
