Chegondi Hari Ramajogaiah, the leader of Kapu Samkshema Sena, is unhappy with the seat-sharing agreement between the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party. He believes that Pawan Kalyan should get half of the ministerial berths in the cabinet and half of the tenure as Chief Minister if their alliance wins the upcoming Assembly elections. Ramajogaiah wants TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu to make an official announcement regarding this.
In an open letter to Pawan Kalyan, Ramajogaiah questioned how the seat allocation was determined. He pointed out that based on the percentage of votes by caste, Kapus should have received 25 percent of the seats, but they were only allocated 15 seats. He also expressed disappointment that Pawan Kalyan settled for only 24 seats when the Jana Sena party is strong in 50-60 seats.
Ramajogaiah emphasized that the Jana Sena cadre may be upset with the current seat-sharing arrangement between TDP and JSP. He believes that to achieve the vision of ‘Rama Rajya’ and defeat YS Jagan, Pawan Kalyan should be Chief Minister for half of the five-year term and have at least 50 percent of the cabinet berths.
He also stressed the importance of transferring JSP votes to TDP candidates for their victory in the elections. Ramajogaiah warned that without this transfer, the outcome may be similar to the 2019 elections.
