Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won against Royal Challengers Bangalore and are returning to their home at Chepauk for a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday. Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who has played for CSK, praised MS Dhoni, saying that there can’t be a bigger cricketer in India than him. Harbhajan added that Dhoni has a huge fanbase and respects his teammates.
Harbhajan also spoke highly of all-rounder Shivam Dube, who played well in the last match against Bangalore. He said that Dube’s hitting range is tremendous and he should continue to get opportunities to bat higher in the order.
Former England captain Kevin Pietersen was critical of the performance put up by David Warner & Co in their last match against Delhi Capitals, pointing out that their batting still remains a concern. He said that Delhi Capitals’ win could give them confidence and they could become unstoppable like Mumbai Indians in the past. However, Pietersen also noted that Warner led from the front with his captaincy and batting.
