Gutha Sukhender Reddy accuses Revanth Reddy of aiming for CM post to plunder the State in Nalgonda

On Monday, State Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy shared his views with the media at his residence in Nalgonda. He criticized the ambition of the State Congress chief Revanth Reddy, claiming that it is to become the Chief Minister of Telangana and steal from the state. Gutha also spoke about the lack of unity within the Congress party, comparing it to frogs. He believes that their public appearances are attempts to show unity and gain support for party tickets.

Gutha also criticized Venkata Reddy and dismissed State BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s remarks on his participation in BRS meetings despite being the Telangana Legislative Council Chairman. He justified his participation in the inauguration ceremony of BRS office in Delhi, stating that elected officials should appear on party platforms.

Gutha believes that only those who win elections on party tickets should elect the Speaker of the Assembly and Chairman of Legislative Council. If there was a law prohibiting rival parties from contesting for these positions, it would be easier to hold chairpersons away from elected parties. However, since no such law exists, legislative house heads must appear on party platforms, even at important events.

Finally, Gutha shared his opinion on the BJP and Congress’s hunger for power and targeting CM KCR’s family. Despite this, he is confident that BRS under the leadership of CM KCR will form the government for the third time without fail.
