Guru Nanak Institutions Hosts Premier Faculty Development Program on Electronic System Design

Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus, located near Ibrahimpatnam in Rangareddy district, recently played host to a landmark event in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The institution, in collaboration with the Atal – FDP Department of Electronics and Communication and AICTE – Idea Lab, curated a National Level Faculty Development Program (FDP) themed “Advanced Electronic System Design – Ideation and Prototyping.”

The event drew a massive attendance, underscoring its significance in the professional community. An impressive cohort of around 600 professionals, representing a mix of industries and academic institutions from across India, converged to delve into the latest advancements in Consumer-Electronics FDP.

Central to the program’s ethos was its hands-on approach. Participants were treated to a blend of rigorous theoretical sessions and practical workshops. The agenda encompassed in-depth lectures on cutting-edge embedded system design methodologies. Complementing these were immersive laboratory sessions designed to offer attendees a firsthand experience in the nuances of “Advanced Electronic System Design-Ideation and Prototyping.”

Eminent figures from the academic sector were in attendance, lending their expertise and insights. Dr. Shyam Sundar, a revered name in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, enriched the gathering with his profound knowledge. Other notable speakers included Director Dr. K. Venkata Rao, Joint Director Dr. P. Parthasaradhi, Dean R&D Dr. SV Ranganayakulu, and Principal Dr. S Srinatha Reddy.

The institution’s leadership, represented by Vice Chairman Sardar G.S. Kohli and Managing Director Dr. H.S. Saini, commended the program’s execution. They extended their felicitations to both the enthusiastic participants and the dedicated organizers. The success of the event was also credited to the relentless efforts of the organizing committee, with special acknowledgment given to Assistant Professor Dr. Laxman, FDP Convener, and Dr. S. Maheswara Reddy, HOD ECE, who, along with Dr. Sandeep Patil and the extended faculty team, ensured the program’s seamless progression and impact.
