The Governor asked for clarifications about the extension of time for no confidence motions in civic bodies and the establishment of private universities in the state. The Telangana government filed a petition in the Supreme Court asking the Governor to clear the pending bills, but the Governor made her decision before the hearing. The Governor has already cleared three bills and reserved two others for consideration by the President of India.
