Sircilla: Development Works Launched in Mangalapalli Village
Government Whip Adi Srinivas laid the foundation stones for several development projects in Mangalapalli village, located in Konaraopet mandal of Sircilla district, on Tuesday.
As part of the projects, he performed Bhumi Puja for the construction of a BT road in Mangalapalli village at an estimated cost of ₹1.30 crore. Additionally, he initiated the construction of a road bridge between Kolanur and Ramannapet, valued at ₹1.90 crore, and a CC road costing ₹90 lakh for the Ramalayam temple in Malkapet village.
During the event, Srinivas expressed dissatisfaction with the previous government, stating that despite repeated complaints, no action was taken for development. He emphasized that the current government is committed to fulfilling its promises, as demonstrated by the Bhumi Puja conducted on Tuesday.
He thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, District Ministers Sridhar Babu and P. Prabhakar, and Panchayat Raj Minister Seethakka for their support in securing funds. Srinivas announced that foundation stones would be laid for 13 development projects totaling ₹13.40 crore.
Srinivas also highlighted the various welfare schemes implemented by the state government, such as free travel in RTC buses, free electricity up to 200 units, the ₹10 lakh Arogyasree health coverage extension, and the waiving of farmers’ loans.
Criticizing the previous government for neglecting farmers, he assured that the pending works for the Malkapeta reservoir would soon be completed, ensuring water availability for the region.
