As part of these plans, IT Minister Duddila Sridhar Babu will lay the foundation stone for the upgraded ITI and Skill Development Centre in Mahabubnagar on October 23. This is expected to bring significant improvements to the region’s vocational training infrastructure.

The Mahabubnagar ITI will introduce six new courses in partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). These courses will focus on the latest technology, and TCS will also help students with job placements, ensuring they are ready for the modern job market.

In addition to educational initiatives, MLA Reddy announced the installation of statues of Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam and business leader Ratan Tata in the district collector’s office. He praised Ratan Tata for his philanthropic work and said that his legacy serves as an inspiration for future generations.

Reddy also discussed infrastructure projects in the area. He confirmed that Rs 15 crore has been allocated for road connectivity projects in Hanwada mandal and other nearby regions, which will improve transportation and access to these areas.

Lastly, the MLA mentioned the recent inauguration of a Navy radar center by Union Minister Rajnath Singh at Damagundam in Rangareddy district, near Mahabubnagar. He highlighted that the Hyderabad region is considered a safe area, which is why the central government decided to set up the radar system. This radar can monitor enemy movements up to 2,500 km away, enhancing the country’s security.
