Strict Action Needed Against Schools Violating RTE Act – Ravi Raj Rathod

Ravi Raj Rathod, the leader of the National Banjara Mission India and president of Medchal-Malkajgiri district, has called for strict action against private schools that do not follow the Right to Education (RTE) Act.

Speaking on Monday, he stressed that the RTE Act of 2009 requires all schools to provide free and compulsory education to children aged six to 14 years. Additionally, private schools must reserve at least 25% of their seats for underprivileged children, as per government rules. However, he alleged that many schools are ignoring these regulations and treating education as a business.

Rathod stated that it is the government’s duty to ensure education for all children. He expressed concern that several schools are violating the law and pressuring parents with extremely high fees. He urged the authorities to take immediate action against such schools.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to fighting for the proper enforcement of the RTE Act, vowing to continue his efforts until justice is served.
