Some brokers trick farmers into buying fake seeds at cheap prices. However, the government is taking measures to arrest these brokers. The police and Agriculture departments will work together to inspect the district at different levels. They will set up surveillance to catch criminals selling fake seeds and keep them under watch.

The government’s guidelines say that they need to pay attention to expired seeds, those sold without a license, and those who have a license in one area but sell elsewhere. The police are also cracking down on illegal smuggling of alcohol using technology.

The meeting was attended by many officials from both the Police and Agriculture departments.
