Ashish Chauhan, the national organizing secretary of ABVP, criticized the Pragathi Bhawan government for only focusing on the needs of the KCR family and neglecting the needs of the people. He mentioned that various sectors in Telangana, including education and agriculture, are declining, and the IT sector has fallen to fifth place compared to previous years.
Balakrishna, the national joint organizing secretary of ABVP, compared the KCR government to the days of Hyderabad under Nizam rule. He stated that the ‘Kadana Bheri’ organized by ABVP will send a message to the government and that ABVP will fight until justice is served for the students.
Yagyavalkya Shukla, the national general secretary of ABVP, criticized KCR for neglecting the needs of students and highlighted flaws and mismanagement in the government. He emphasized that ABVP has a history of standing up for student rights and holding governments accountable.
Jhansi, the state secretary of ABVP, discussed the negative impact of the KCR government on the state’s education system and unemployment crisis. She vowed that ABVP will continue fighting until the demands of students are met.
Srikanth, the city secretary of ABVP, highlighted the corruption in Telangana and accused the KCR family of looting people for their own benefit. SWC members Jeevan and Srihari mentioned the crisis in universities under the KCR regime.
The ‘Kadana Bheri’ is a gathering of 86,000 students from 1,289 colleges across 33 districts. Their demands include the release of pending fee reimbursement and scholarship arrears, enhancement of post-matric scholarships, enactment of a fee regulation act, prohibition of corporate educational institutes operating solely as businesses, improved accommodation in hostels, reopening of government schools, reversal of fee hikes, safeguarding public lands, and implementation of NEP.
