Recently, they found 7 kg of gold in a car during a vehicle check at the Madgi interstate check post. Since the proper documents were not provided, the gold was taken away. The gold is worth around Rs. 4 crore 55 lakhs and was being transported from Gujarat to Hyderabad. These inspections and seizures are happening to make sure the electoral process is fair and transparent by stopping any illegal or unaccounted-for wealth.
