**Bhadrachalam**: The water level of the Godavari River was recorded at 32.8 feet at 11 am, according to officials.
The rise in water levels is due to heavy rains in the state and neighboring states, causing floodwaters to slowly increase.
District Collector Jitesh V Patil is closely monitoring the situation. He is working with staff and overseeing the flood conditions.
The Collector has instructed officers not to leave their posts without permission to ensure the situation is managed effectively.
Devotees are unhappy because they are not allowed to take holy dips in the Godavari River. The floodwaters have reached the bathing steps and Pushkar ghats, making it unsafe for such activities.
