The GHMC received 334 grievance applications during the Prajavani programme. GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose warned of strict action if complaints are not resolved within the specified time.
During the event, officials were urged to prioritize addressing people’s issues. A total of 257 applications were received at the GHMC head office near Tank Bund and 77 zonal offices. Requests came from various zones like Charminar, Secunderabad, Kukatpally, Khairatabad, L B Nagar, and Serilingampally.
Officials were advised to address the reported problems of the city’s residents. Commissioner Ronald Rose instructed officials to communicate the grievance redressal duration to all complainants in writing. Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi also directed officials to submit a report on resolved complaints by Saturday.
During the meeting, several officials including ENC Zia Uddin, Additional Commissioners Nalini Padmavathy, Geeta Madhuri, Satyanarayana, Yadagirao, Jayaraj Kennedy, CPP Rajendraprasad, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Padmaja, Chief Entomology Dr. Rambabu, and Housing SE Vidyasagar were present.
