Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Council meeting became tense as corporators voiced their concerns about various civic problems. They directed tough questions at Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi and GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose.
Corporators from multiple political parties focused on major issues troubling the city. They pointed out problems like poor waste management and non-functional streetlights. Representatives from the BJP and AIMIM demanded that these issues be resolved within a fixed time frame, urging the administration to take quicker action.
Meanwhile, Congress corporators raised a separate concern about corporate schools. They accused these schools of not paying their taxes properly and called for stricter measures to ensure tax compliance.
The meeting highlighted the need for better governance and faster solutions to address the city’s pressing problems.
