The district BRS leader in Wanaparthy, Gattu Yadav, strongly criticized MLA Thudi Meghareddy for personally attacking former Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy. Yadav expressed his disapproval during a media address on Monday, stating that Meghareddy’s comments make him seem bitter and petty. Yadav pointed out that the MLA is using personal insults to divert attention from the challenges he faces in developing the constituency.
Yadav highlighted Niranjan Reddy’s efforts in development, mentioning that he fought for 14 years to become a minister. He accused Meghareddy of betraying the leader who supported his political growth, emphasizing that when they worked together, Reddy was not considered corrupt. Yadav also questioned Meghareddy’s opposition to the utilization of development funds for road widening, construction of a town hall, and other welfare activities.
To show their support, Yadav warned against tolerating individuals in constitutional positions who lack proper knowledge and culture and speak in a demeaning manner. They vowed to protect Niranjan Reddy’s reputation and not tolerate any harm done to it.
