Gangula urges peaceful celebrations of Ganesh and Milad-un-Nabi

Telangana Minister Gangula Kamalakar attended a peace committee meeting in Karimnagar to discuss arrangements for the Ganesh immersion and Milad-un-Nabi festivals. He emphasized the importance of conducting these festivals in a peaceful atmosphere that includes all religions. Kamalakar urged everyone to work together to ensure the success of the Ganesh immersion on September 27 and the Milad-un-Nabi celebrations on September 29.

The minister highlighted that there have been no clashes in the district so far, and all religions have been treated equally. He mentioned examples of Muslims participating in the Venkateswara Swamy Brahmotsavam and Hindus distributing sharbat during Milad-un-Nabi. Kamalakar also mentioned the equal footing on which Hindus and Muslims organize the Moharram festival in villages.

Kamalakar expressed gratitude for the postponement of the Milad-un-Nabi festival in Hyderabad and acknowledged the efforts of CM KCR and Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi in promoting peace and harmony in Telangana. MIM city president Syed Ghulam Ahmed Hussain commended Karimnagar as a symbol of religious harmony and thanked everyone involved in rescheduling Milad-un-Nabi to accommodate the Ganesh immersion.

Hussain also mentioned the Zamzam Welfare Society, which has been providing mineral bottles, lassi, almond milk, and soft drinks to Hindus participating in Ganesh immersion for the past 15 years.
