Steps are being taken to make Karimnagar a spiritual center and a tourist destination, according to BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar. The minister recently met with representatives of Hare Rama Hare Krishna and ISKCON to discuss this plan. Karimnagar will become a spiritual center with the construction of TTD’s Venteswara Swamy Temple and the ISKCON Temple. The minister emphasized that discipline will be adopted when spirituality and piety develop in the people.

Every year, Srivari Brahmotsavam is celebrated in Karimnagar to promote spirituality. To support this, a large temple is being built under TTD in the city. Chief Minister KCR has already allocated 10 acres for the temple’s construction and performed a Bhumi Puja. The temple construction will begin in the next 15 days.

In addition to development, Karimnagar aims to be at the forefront of spirituality. To promote piety among the people, the construction of the ISKCON temple near the dam is underway. Chief Minister KCR has allocated 3 acres for this temple, and works worth Rs 20 crores have been sanctioned. To raise awareness about the temple’s construction, a grand procession of Radha Govinda will take place on Saturday at 3 pm, starting from Telangana Chowk and ending at the proposed temple site.

Foreigners, Yadava brothers, and Krishna devotees will participate in this program on a large scale. The success of this event depends on the participation of the city’s residents. Once these temples are completed, Karimnagar will become both a tourist center and a spiritual center.
