The Congress party and Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad were filled with joy after receiving a mandate in the Assembly elections. Early trends showed that the Congress was leading in most constituencies, leading to celebrations at Gandhi Bhavan. Party workers distributed sweets and PCC chief A Revanth Reddy joined the celebration by leaving his residence in a rally towards Gandhi Bhavan. When he arrived, party members gave him a hero’s welcome and more supporters joined in the festivities. Some TDP supporters also showed their support by raising flags. After a press conference, Revanth presented himself to the cheering party members and they celebrated by bursting crackers and spraying rangoli on each other.
