Hyderabad’s Finance Minister T Harish Rao announced on Friday that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will be running for re-election in the Gajwel Assembly constituency. Harish Rao urged voters to ensure KCR’s victory by a margin of over 1 lakh votes in the next election.
During a gathering of Congress leaders who joined BRS on Friday in Gajwel, Harish Rao emphasized that CM KCR has fulfilled his responsibilities to the people of Gajwel through development work and service. He urged voters to express their gratitude by securing a majority of more than one lakh votes for KCR in the upcoming election.
Although the official announcement of candidates is pending, senior party leaders, including BRS working president KT Rama Rao and Harish Rao, are urging voters to support incumbents in certain constituencies. They are encouraging voters to ensure victories for candidates like Mahipal Reddy in Patancheru, Bhupal Reddy in Narayankhed, V Srinivas Goud in Mahabubnagar, Alla Venkateshwar Reddy in Devarakadra, Padi Kaushik Reddy in Huzurabad, and others.
Harish Rao highlighted various development projects in the Gajwel constituency, such as the construction of a Coca Cola factory due to the availability of water from Kondapochamma Sagar. He also mentioned the upcoming establishment of a large rice mill in Wargal, which would be equivalent to 100 rice mills in Gajwel. Additionally, CM KCR has constructed multiple check dams in the constituency.
