Tammannagari Ram Mohan Reddy, also known as TRR, is a Congress MLA from Pargi in Rangareddy. He has experienced both victories and defeats in his political career over the past 15 years, establishing himself as a resilient and accomplished politician.
Originally from Vikarabad district, TRR is also an educationist who founded the TRR Group of institutions in 2001. In 2020, his opposition to the Pothireddypadu Lift Irrigation Project gained him recognition in the political arena and led to his appointment as convener in Pradesh Congress Committee.
After an unsuccessful independent candidacy in 2009, TRR made a comeback in 2014 by defeating a strong opponent from BRS, K Harishwar Reddy. His decision to join the Congress party before the 2014 elections proved beneficial as he was able to avenge his previous loss to Harishwar Reddy in 2009.
In 2018, TRR faced another setback when he lost to BRS candidate K Mahesh Reddy. However, he bounced back in December 2023 by defeating K Mahesh Reddy with a significant margin of 24,013 votes.
TRR’s strategic political approach and determination have made him a respected figure in the Congress party. He currently serves as the district Congress Committee chief in Vikarabad, where under his leadership, the party secured victory in four assembly seats during the December 2023 elections.
