The England cricket team is coming to India to play a five-test series against India. The first test match will take place at the Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad on January 25. As a special offer, students from government and government-recognised schools in Telangana will be given free admission to this match.
The President of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), Arshanapalli Jagan Mohan Rao, recently visited the Uppal Stadium to inspect the ongoing modernization works. During his visit, he announced that students in grades 6 to 12 will be allowed to watch the India-England test match for free.
However, students will not be able to attend directly. Instead, the principals of their respective schools will have to submit applications on behalf of the students. These applications must clearly state the number of students and staff members attending from each school.
The HCA President explained that they will review the applications and provide complimentary passes to the schools. Students with these passes will be required to wear their school uniforms. Additionally, free food and drinking water will be provided for the students during the match.
