Former MP B. Vinod Kumar has criticized Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for her comments on Telangana’s financial situation. He called her remarks irresponsible and accused her of disrespecting the decade-long governance of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).
Vinod Kumar defended KCR’s administration, explaining that while the government did take loans, the money was used for the state’s development and not wasted. He highlighted that the previous government focused on growth and welfare schemes to benefit the people.
He also demanded that Sitharaman take back her comments, arguing that they undermine Telangana’s progress. His criticism comes at a time when there is an ongoing debate about the state’s financial policies under both KCR’s government and the current government, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
