BT Roads to Be Built Through Forest Lands in Wanaparthy
BT (Bituminous) roads will soon connect Anjanagirithanda and Cheruvu Mundari thanda, located in Wanaparthy mandal, through forest areas. This development was approved by the District-Level Forest Committee during a meeting chaired by District Collector Adarsh Surabhi on Monday.
The collector explained that the committee has allocated forest land for the construction of these roads. A total of 0.69 hectares of land will be used to build the road from PR Road to Anjanagirithanda. For the road connecting Cheruvu Mundari thanda via Peddathanda, 0.91 hectares of land has been set aside.
Several officials attended the meeting, including District Forest Officer Thirumala Rao, District Tribal Welfare Officer Biram Subba Reddy, District Panchayat Officer Suresh, and DEE of Tribal Welfare Venkateswara Singh.
