The FLO Industrial Park in Sultanpur, near Hyderabad, is gaining national recognition. This industrial hub is India’s first 100% women-owned park, attracting ₹250 crore in investments and creating over 1,500 jobs. Notably, 55% of these jobs are held by women, making it a key example of inclusive economic growth.

Recently, delegations from Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh visited the park to learn from its success. Officials from Maharashtra’s MahaPREIT and the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation studied how the park fosters women entrepreneurship. The Maharashtra team was led by MahaPREIT Managing Director Bipin Shrimali, along with senior officials and FICCI leaders from Mumbai. Meanwhile, a 30-member delegation from Madhya Pradesh included women entrepreneurs, government officials, and representatives from FLO Indore and FICCI.

The success of the FLO Industrial Park has inspired efforts to create similar projects in other states. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Ladies’ Organisation (FICCI FLO) has committed to replicating this model across India. Such initiatives aim to strengthen women’s participation in the economy and encourage more women-led industries.

In a major development, the park was recently presented to the World Bank under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme. This global exposure highlights its potential impact. FLO Hyderabad Chairperson Priya Gazdar and women entrepreneurs from the park shared insights into its operations. The visiting delegates also met Telangana’s Special Chief Secretary for IT and Industries, Jayesh Ranjan, to discuss policies that support women-led industrial growth.
