Semi-Christmas Celebrations at Erravalli Sri Saraswathi International School
The Semi-Christmas celebrations at Erravalli Sri Saraswathi International School in Gadwal began with a special reading from the Bible. The chosen verse was, “Today in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord,” setting a spiritual and joyful tone for the event.
During the celebration, the school correspondent, Mrs. Madhukar Reddy, extended her warm Christmas wishes to all the students. She shared an inspiring proverb, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” She stressed the importance of instilling good values in children and encouraged everyone to celebrate Christmas with unity, beyond the boundaries of caste and religion. Mrs. Reddy highlighted that celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ is a moment of great fortune and urged everyone to embrace the spirit of brotherhood.
A highlight of the event was the traditional cutting of the Christmas cake, symbolizing togetherness and happiness. Santa Claus made a special appearance, delighting everyone by distributing gifts, sweets, and chocolates. The atmosphere was filled with joy as participants exchanged Christmas wishes and celebrated the festive spirit.
The program was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including the school chairman, Mr. Veera Govardhan Reddy, director Mr. Veera Srinivas Reddy, correspondent Mrs. Madhulika Reddy, and principal Ms. Nandini Keni. Teachers such as Mr. Prabhakar, Ms. Prameela Rani, and Ms. Amulya Priyanka Tippana, along with other staff members, also took part in the celebrations. The students participated enthusiastically, adding energy and excitement to the event.
