The Hyderabad Book Fair, a highly anticipated annual event, will be held in February at the Telangana Kalabharathi NTR Stadium. The decision was made during an executive meeting in Hyderabad on Monday. Originally, the book fair was planned to be postponed due to the Assembly elections, but it has now been scheduled for February.
For the past 35 years, the Hyderabad Book Fair has been a popular event for both readers and booksellers. The vice-president of the Book Fair Society, Koya Chandramohan, stated that they are expecting a positive response from the people of Telangana, as the event will feature book launches, seminars, cultural activities, and initiatives to promote reading habits among children.
Chandramohan explained that the book fair is usually held in Hyderabad in December, but it had to be postponed due to the elections. Additionally, they had to wait for national sellers to become available after the Chennai Book Fair. More information regarding the number of stalls and discounts will be announced by the Book Fair Society soon.
