Farmers' Plight in Telangana Worsens: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Slams Chief Minister

Hyderabad: The situation of farmers in Telangana has worsened due to the government’s negligence, said Union Minister Bandi Sanjay. He criticized the state government for not keeping its promise of loan waivers to eligible farmers.

According to Bandi Sanjay, many farmers who qualify for these loan waivers are still waiting for relief. He pointed out that the government’s claims remain unfulfilled, leaving farmers in difficult situations. He also accused the state leadership of trying to misuse funds meant for farmers. “There are efforts to siphon off bonus payments intended for the farmers,” he said.

In addition, Bandi Sanjay expressed support for the Musi River cleaning project. However, he clarified that while the BJP supports the cleaning initiative, they oppose the demolition of homes belonging to poor people. “We are not against the Musi cleaning initiative, but destroying poor people’s homes for commission-based motives is unacceptable. We will not tolerate it,” the Union Minister asserted.
