Hyderabad Kidnapping Case: Six Arrested by Falaknuma Police
In a quick and efficient operation, the Falaknuma Police in Hyderabad have arrested six people in connection with a kidnapping incident. The crime took place on October 13th near a gym at Bibi ka Cheshma in Falaknuma. The victim’s wife, Smt. Afreen Begum, reported the kidnapping to the police.
The incident was linked to a financial dispute. According to the police, the issue stemmed from a transaction involving a refrigerator and a washing machine worth Rs. 30,000. A man named Zubair had taken these items from one of the accused two months ago but had not paid for them. To recover the money, the main accused, Mohd Hameed, along with five others, planned to kidnap Zubair’s friend, Mohd Ali, in an attempt to find Zubair’s whereabouts.
The group, which included students, a ginger-garlic seller, and an electronic worker, transported Mohd Ali to Gulbarga in a Qualis vehicle. During the journey, they reportedly assaulted the victim. After Smt. Afreen Begum filed the complaint late that night, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Falaknuma, Sri K. Adi Reddy, immediately registered the case.
Using reliable information, the Falaknuma Police coordinated with the Gulbarga Police. Together, they tracked down the vehicle, rescued the victim, and arrested five of the accused on the spot. Two other individuals involved were caught shortly after.
This successful operation was overseen by Sri M.A. Jaweed, the Assistant Commissioner of Police for the Falaknuma Division, and carried out by Inspector K. Adi Reddy and his team.
The arrested individuals have been brought back to Falaknuma Police Station and will be presented in court soon. This case shows the commitment of the local police to protect public safety and respond swiftly to criminal activities in the Hyderabad region.
