To make travel safe during New Year celebrations on December 31, trains in Hyderabad will run until midnight. The Managing Director of HMRL, NVS Reddy, announced that the last trains will depart from their originating stations at 12:15 am and reach their destinations around 1 am on January 1. Metro Rail police and security teams will be vigilant to prevent any unruly behavior caused by alcohol consumption on trains and at stations.
