Yadadri: Surprise Inspection at Aleru Government Hospital Reveals Negligence
Government Whip and MLA Beerla Ilaiah recently paid an unannounced visit to the Aleru Government Hospital in Yadadri district. During his inspection, he uncovered shocking cases of medical negligence, including the storage of expired injections in the regular injection box. This discovery sparked his outrage and raised serious concerns about the safety of patients.
The MLA expressed his frustration with the hospital staff, questioning how such expired medicines could be stored alongside regular supplies. “How can you ensure the safety of patients with this level of negligence?” he asked angrily. Ilaiah warned the staff that strict action would be taken if such carelessness continued, stressing the importance of healthcare professionals in safeguarding lives.
During his visit, Ilaiah also interacted with patients at the hospital. He encouraged them to speak up and report any issues they face to the authorities. Additionally, he instructed the medical staff to maintain punctuality and strive to build public trust in government healthcare services.
To address the problem, the MLA directed the hospital staff to strictly avoid using expired medicines or injections under any circumstances. He also insisted on implementing measures to prevent such incidents from happening again. His inspection underscored the urgent need for better monitoring and accountability in public healthcare facilities.
