In Nagarkurnool, District Collector Uday Kumar has instructed officials to ensure that families in villages to be resettled in the core area of Nallamalla Tiger Reserve Forest receive all necessary facilities.

During a District Level Committee meeting at the District Collectorate building in Sarlapalli, Kudchintala, arrangements were discussed to move the villages of Bailu, Kollam Penta, and Komman Penta near the Amrabad Tiger Reserve Forest. The National Tiger Conservation Authority will oversee the handover of these villages for rehabilitation, with compensation and land arrangements being made.

Due to a lack of revenue land in the district, plans are being made to allocate land in the Bhacharam forest area for the resettled families. Each family will receive a compensation of 15 lakhs, and those interested in land will be accommodated. The Forest Department has the necessary funds for development in the rehabilitation center area.

The District Collector engaged with villagers, addressing their concerns and directing officials to promptly resolve any issues. Villagers expressed satisfaction with the progress at the rehabilitation center and agreed to relocate. The Collector approved various proposals from the villagers and emphasized coordination among departments to expedite the process. Meetings included District Forest Officer Rohit Gopidi, Additional Collectors Kumar Deepak and Sitarama Rao, along with officers from various departments.
