BJP MLA Etela Rajender has accused the Telangana government of trying to defame Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan over the TSRTC merger bill. He said that the governor is not available and criticized the government for rushing the process. Rajender also mentioned that RTC workers are hesitant to trust the government and criticized Chief Minister KCR for not being available.
The Telangana cabinet has approved the merger of Telangana RTC with the government. The bill has been sent to Raj Bhavan for approval, but since the governor has not yet approved it, RTC workers have called for a strike. As a result, bus services have been suspended since Saturday morning.
Etela Rajender supports the merger of RTC into the government and emphasizes the need for two PRCs for RTC workers. He also calls for the regularization of other staff working in the RTC. Rajender alleges that RTC workers are being forced to protest in front of the Governor’s office.
