Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao praised the performance and experience of Telangana Women’s DWCRA Groups. He met with 15 women from Orugallu Maha Samakhya, a poverty alleviation organization from Hanumakonda. These women recently went to Ladakh to train women’s groups there.

The minister congratulated the women on their work and asked about their training methods. He also learned about the organization’s efforts to alleviate poverty and promote economic development for rural women.

Orugallu Maha Samakhya is a federation of 10 well-progressed societies in Warangal district. They have been conducting service programs for 18 years and were recognized as a national-level human resource organization in 2015. They have trained around 460 resource persons who are now providing training in various states across the country.

Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao highlighted that CM KCR has strengthened the DWCRA communities. He mentioned that there are 45,60,518 women who are members of 4,35,364 self-help societies under the Poverty Alleviation Organization in Telangana. He emphasized that Telangana is leading in organizing women on such a large scale.

The program was attended by other officials including Warangal ZP in-charge CEO, Warangal DRDO Sampath Rao, Thakkellapally Ravinder Rao of Serpana, women resource persons, senior community resource persons of Orugallu Maha Samakhya, and others.
