Aman Gupta, a Shark on Shark Tank India and entrepreneur, recently spoke at an event in Hyderabad. He talked about how Indian brands are becoming increasingly popular and successful, and how he co-founded boAt, which is now the second biggest wearable brand in the world. Gupta also talked about his eight lessons for success, including putting customers first, being frugal, and letting young people run your business. He also said that he invests in people and likes to inspire them. Gupta wasn’t always a technocrat, but he learned a lot while working at JBL and took some of his colleagues with him to build boAt. He said that he doesn’t want another Aman Gupta to be born out of his company and that he prefers execution over ideas. Finally, Gupta said that he gives speaking assignments to charity and that he loves being busy.
