Hyderabad: Sambhu Prasad, a retired deputy commissioner from the Telangana state excise and prohibition department, recently captured a rare celestial event using his telescope. Six planets from our solar system aligned in a straight row, an event known as a “planet parade.”
To witness this extraordinary phenomenon, Sambhu Prasad set up his telescope on the terrace of his building in Dilsukhnagar. He invited neighbors and students to join him in observing the event. He emphasized that such occurrences are rare and not something one can see often.
During the event, Sambhu Prasad took the opportunity to educate students about the solar system. He explained how planets rotate on their axes and revolve around the Sun. The students were fascinated as they viewed the planet parade through his telescope, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
