Hyderabad: Anurag University hosted TEDxAnuragU 2025 with the theme “Next is Now.” The event encouraged discussions on progress, innovation, and the importance of embracing the future. Speakers covered topics such as education reform, leadership, creativity, sustainability, and emerging technologies. The goal was to inspire attendees to think beyond traditional ideas and take charge of change.
One of the key speakers was Dr. BVR Mohan Reddy, founder of Cyient and former Chairperson of NASSCOM. He spoke about the future of artificial intelligence and how to use its potential effectively. Actress and activist Akkineni Amala, founder of Blue Cross, highlighted the importance of kindness and social responsibility in bringing about positive change.
Education reform was another major focus of the event. Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan, former IAS officer and founder of the FDR and Lok Satta party, discussed the need for improvements in school education. He pointed out key issues in the current system and stressed the importance of structural changes.
Creativity and alternative learning methods were also emphasized. Agniv Vinoth, a young video creator, inspired the audience with his unique perspective, encouraging them to think beyond traditional education methods. Violinist, singer, and composer Sandilya Pisapati, an alumnus of Anurag University, demonstrated how music and storytelling can be combined to create powerful experiences.
Nishtha Yogesh spoke about the impact of ideas and how she is motivating women to step into leadership roles. Along with the thought-provoking talks, the event featured artistic performances, including mesmerizing sand art, adding a creative touch to the discussions. TEDxAnuragU 2025 provided a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas and inspiring action in various fields.
