Elderly couple in Nalgonda seeks justice

Murarisetti Kshetraiah and his wife Rajini, who live in Shivajinagar in Nalgonda town, have filed a complaint with the Nalgonda Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) Ravi. They accuse their son Murarisetti Rambabu and daughter-in-law Sunitha of forcefully taking their property and mistreating them.

Kshetraiah, a retired superintendent from the endowment department, explained that they had two houses. They gave one house and some gold to their son. However, when they moved in with their son a year ago, they were treated badly. Their son and daughter-in-law registered the house in the daughter-in-law’s name and even used violence against them.

Kshetraiah is worried about the mistreatment they have faced. He said that his son and daughter-in-law not only took their property but also physically harmed them. The elderly couple is allegedly denied meals twice a day, and their son and daughter-in-law even take their pension money for themselves.

When asked what they wanted, the elderly couple asked for help in getting back their own house, which is now registered under the daughter-in-law’s name. The RDO promised to work towards giving them justice according to their wishes.
