TGSRTC has introduced eight new metro buses in Hyderabad on June 3, 2024, to help reduce congestion and improve transportation. These buses run on Route 24E, connecting ECIL X Road to Secunderabad, passing through important areas like AS Rao Nagar, Sainikpuri, Shopping Complex, Ammuguda, Naga Devatha Temple, Lal Bazaar, Karkhana, and JBS. This aims to provide a smooth travel experience for passengers.

The frequency of these eight buses on the route is approximately every 13 minutes, making it easier for commuters to access public transportation without long waiting times. The first bus departs from ECIL X Road to Secunderabad at 5:53 a.m., with the last bus leaving at 9:00 p.m. Similarly, the first bus from Secunderabad to ECIL X Road starts at 6:30 a.m., and the final departure is at 8:52 p.m.

TGSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar announced the introduction of these new buses, signaling a positive step towards improving the public transportation system in the region. This initiative is part of TGSRTC’s efforts to ease congestion and enhance transportation efficiency in Secunderabad. The Maha Lakshmi scheme also offers free bus travel for women in Telangana, making commuting more convenient for residents in Hyderabad.
