Nagar Kurnool: Telangana State Higher Education Council Chairman, Prof. V. Balakista Reddy, stressed the importance of teaching students human values in government schools. He spoke about his commitment to using Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to help develop these schools.
On Friday, Prof. Reddy attended the retirement ceremony of social studies teacher Tippa Ramamurthy at the Zilla Parishad High School in Kummera, Nagar Kurnool Mandal. As the chief guest, he reminded the audience that it is the teachers’ responsibility to provide value-based education and suggested that schools adopt a concept similar to CSR called Academic Social Responsibility (ASR) to improve the quality of education.
He also mentioned that under the leadership of Chief Minister Enumula Revanth Reddy, the government is working hard to provide quality education from primary school to university. He encouraged students to gain technical knowledge to succeed in today’s competitive world, sharing that he himself studied in government schools.
Prof. Reddy praised the retiring teacher, Tippa Ramamurthy, for his dedication and urged younger teachers to see him as a role model. The event was attended by the District Education Officer, Govindarajulu, as well as other important guests and students, who all honored the retiring teacher for his service.
