Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya recently visited the Zilla Parishad High School in Kacharam village, Yadagirigutta Mandal, where he spoke to students about the importance of education. He highlighted that through education, students can achieve great heights and accomplish anything they set their minds to. Speaking to the gathering, he stressed the importance of self-confidence, courage, and determination in achieving one’s goals.
Dattatreya emphasized that education is the key to eradicating poverty, eliminating unemployment, and driving national development. He also urged students to adopt good values, avoid bad habits, and choose the path of virtue. He encouraged them to cultivate a habit of helping others with the resources they have, fostering a spirit of generosity and kindness.
Sharing his personal journey, Dattatreya reflected on how education transformed his life. He revealed that despite losing his father at a young age, his mother supported him by selling onions to ensure he could pursue his studies. He began his career with a job at Syndicate Bank and credited his education and social awareness for his rise to becoming a Minister and later a Governor.
During his interaction, students requested a science lab for their school. Responding to their request, Dattatreya promised to provide a science lab and computers through the BD Foundation. Additionally, with the support of the Vadde Mahadev Foundation, study materials for learning English were distributed to the students. He encouraged them to make the most of the opportunities and resources provided by the government and to focus on their studies for a brighter future.
