Eatala promises to restore former glory to State universities

State BJP Election Management Committee chairman Eatala Rajender has expressed the party’s commitment to restore the glory of universities in Telangana once they come to power. Speaking at a meeting organized by the Telangana Akhankshala Vedika, Rajender emphasized the need to address the concerns of the people and ensure a brighter future for the state.

One of the major issues discussed at the meeting was the declining state of the education sector in Telangana. Rajender stated that the BJP would work towards filling vacant teaching positions in colleges and addressing the problems faced by schools, including the closure of around 8,000 schools.

Rajender also criticized the unilateral removal of guest lecturers, many of whom have been working for over 15 years. He promised to address this issue and highlighted the importance of appointing qualified teachers instead of relying on police personnel, as done by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

The meeting concluded with a decision to hold a public gathering on August 6 as a continuation of the discussions held on Sunday. Furthermore, Rajender assured that a special committee would be formed to resolve issues arising from the Dhrani portal and tackle the problem of unemployment once the BJP comes to power.
