Khammam: District Collector Muzammil Khan has stated that cleanliness efforts are being carried out actively in the flood-affected areas, and the situation is gradually returning to normal due to the government’s actions.
A sanitation drive is currently being conducted across the entire district, including rural regions.
The Collector highlighted that several areas in Pedthanda, Polepalli, Thanagampadu, Kasnathanda, and Tirdhala villages of Khammam rural mandal have suffered severe damage from heavy rains and floods.
To assist the public, 65 panchayat secretaries have been instructed to remain available in their respective areas and respond to people’s needs. Additionally, 195 sanitation workers and 327 private and other workers have been deployed to help with the cleanup efforts.
