Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to meet with Tesla CEO and Twitter owner Elon Musk during his trip to the United States, which begins today. The two first met in 2015 while Modi was touring Tesla’s California plant. Tesla is currently searching for a location for its manufacturing facility in India, and Musk has expressed interest in the Indian market. The meeting will take place as Modi meets with nearly two dozen thought leaders from various fields during his trip, including economist Paul Romer, statistician Nicholas Nassim Taleb, novelist Neil deGrasse Tyson, and financier Ray Dalio. Other attendees include American-Indian singer Falu Shah, author and researcher Jeff Smith, and Nobel Prize-winning physician Dr. Peter Agre.
