Doctors at KIMS Hospital in Khammam saved the life of an 11-year-old boy who was in a terrible road accident on June 1. Sadly, three people died in the accident. The boy, named P Divijeet, was brought to the hospital unconscious.
The doctors in charge of his care were Dr Katragadda Yamuna, a pulmonologist, and Dr MedaraMetla, an orthopedic. They quickly put him on a ventilator since his lungs and cheekbones were damaged. The doctors then performed surgery on him.
By Sunday, the boy had made a full recovery and was able to leave the hospital. His family was very grateful to the doctors and KIMS Hospital for saving his life. The management of the hospital also commended the doctors for their excellent work.
