Free Medical Camp Held in Mahabubnagar to Raise Awareness on Seasonal Diseases
A free medical camp was organized at Sri Vidya Marshall Tapovan School in Dokur village, Devarakadra mandal, Mahabubnagar district. The event, aimed at spreading awareness about seasonal diseases, was supported by Ravi Foundation and Ravi Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Shekhar, the Director of Ravi Foundation and Ravi Children’s Hospital, served as the chief guest for the event. During his address, he stressed the importance of preventive measures to protect against seasonal illnesses. Dr. Shekhar advised the public to boost their immunity through proper nutrition and adopt good hygiene and healthcare habits to maintain their health.
While discussing recent reports of the HMPV virus in China, Dr. Shekhar reassured attendees that no cases of the virus have been detected in India. However, he emphasized the importance of remaining vigilant by maintaining strong immunity and cleanliness to prevent the spread of any diseases.
At the camp, health checkups were provided to 200 students, and free medicines were distributed to those in need. Parents expressed their gratitude to the school management and Ravi Children’s Hospital for organizing the event. They described the initiative as a commendable step toward improving community health.
